OUR PHILOSOPHY

The faith community of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque supports our Catholic elementary school as a response to the commission of Jesus to teach all nations. We are co-educators with parents, the first teachers of your children. We recognize each student as uniquely created and gifted by God, and we work to help each one discover, develop, and dedicate his or her gifts as citizens of God’s Kingdom.

The instructional design incorporates various teaching techniques that are sensitive to individual needs. This curriculum teaches communication skills, as well as a knowledge and understanding of the world. It provides opportunities to participate in Christian worship and Christian service as expressions of a personal and community relationship with God.

TESTIMONIALS

WELCOME & REGISTRATION

Message from Mrs. Freiling, Principal: It is my pleasure to welcome you to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque School. As an education ministry SMMA strives to provide opportunities for spiritual, moral, academic, emotional, and social growth for students in Preschool through Eighth Grade. We recognize each student as uniquely created and gifted by God, and work to help each one discover, develop, and dedicate these gifts as citizens of God's Kingdom. In partnership with parents, we challenge students to engage in learning that will prepare them to be successful in today's world. I am grateful for the ongoing support of our parents and parishioners as we strive to teach as Jesus did - in faith, with love and respect. "Be it known to all who enter here that Christ is the reason for this school, the unseen, but ever-present teacher in its classes, the model of its faculty, the inspiration of its students."
