Welcome To St. Margaret
Mary Alacoque Catholic School
Celebrating 50 Years of Catholic Education
The faith community of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque supports our Catholic elementary school as a response to the commission of Jesus to
teach all nations. We are co-educators with parents, the first teachers of your children. We recognize each student as uniquely created and gifted by God, and we work to help each one discover, develop, and dedicate his or her gifts as citizens of God’s Kingdom.
The instructional design incorporates various teaching techniques that are sensitive to individual needs. This curriculum teaches communication skills, as well as a knowledge and understanding of the world. It provides opportunities to participate in Christian worship and Christian service as expressions of a personal and community relationship with God.
ST. MARGARET MARY ALACOQUE BY THE NUMBERS
St. Margaret Mary Alacoque School is accredited through the Missouri Nonpublic School Accrediting Association, affiliated with the National Federation of Nonpublic School Accrediting Association. Accreditation remains current by means of a yearly assessment of compliance with the state Accrediting Association membership standards and Improvement standards.
VIRTUE BASED RESTORATIVE DISCIPLINE
All students participate in the Virtue Based Restorative Discipline Program. This program highlights virtues and promotes a culture of kindness at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque School. Virtue-Based Restorative Discipline offers SMMA teachers, parents, and students a way to cultivate virtue while repairing harm from bullying and other hurtful behaviors.
"St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Parish and School have a special place in my heart and have been part of my life since the beginning. I have been a member my whole life.
I attended, sent my children, and now teach at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque School. I am proud to say the benefits my family and I have received are endless. From my own personal experience to seeing my children blossom from their education, and now I have the joy of sharing what I have experienced with children here. The school and parish community is one based on faith and love and leaves a lasting effect on all those lucky enough to be a part of it."

WELCOME & REGISTRATION
Message from Mrs. Freiling, Principal:
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque School. As an education ministry SMMA strives to provide opportunities for spiritual, moral, academic, emotional, and social growth for students in Preschool through Eighth Grade. We recognize each student as uniquely created and gifted by God, and work to help each one discover, develop, and dedicate these gifts as citizens of God's Kingdom.
In partnership with parents, we challenge students to engage in learning that will prepare them to be successful in today's world. I am grateful for the ongoing support of our parents and parishioners as we strive to teach as Jesus did - in faith, with love and respect.
"Be it known to all who enter here that Christ is the reason for this school, the unseen, but ever-present teacher in its classes, the model of its faculty, the inspiration of its students."
